Job Summary
Act as the main focal point for the flow of information between the customer and the factory. Ensure a successful and profitable relationship between Boyd and each customer for which the account manager has control. Interface with outside sales representative’s whey they are acting on behalf of the customer or the company.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Review and process purchase orders and contracts from customers.
Review and present pricing which ensures good manufacturability and adequate profits for Boyd.
Maintain a high level of customer service by providing a timely response on all action items, coordinating customer issues with the appropriate people and departments to solve technical issues when required.
Work with the scheduling and material departments to achieve the best possible delivery schedule of customer required parts.
Accept and process expedites and change orders to the mutual satisfaction of both parties.
Host customer visits to the plant as needed.
Develop relationships with customers to strengthen partnerships.
Additional Job Responsibilities
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
Four-year degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment.
Required Skills
Strong written/verbal communication
Good decision-making skills
Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities
Experience using a PC including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Internet

The pay range for this position: $45k to 65k, DOE
FLSA status: exempt

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
